The limiters are the devices designed to establish a maximum sound volume from which you can not climb. They serve both to adjust a certain maximum level for the different regulations and to avoid the breakage of loudspeakers or amplifiers due to excess power or distortion.

  There are several types, but the main difference between them is whether they are approved (limiter-recorder required by regulations to obtain certain types of licenses) or not. The approved ones are those that the different authorities will demand from us for the fulfillment of the ordinances of the corresponding City Council.

  There are also limiters not approved (much cheaper) that simply allow us to adjust a maximum volume and to put a limit on the equipment.
